We were never meant to do this alone.
This is a space for extraordinary parents of kids with complex needs to find support and resources for the journey. As a mom who’s been there, I offer practical tools and safe spaces to help parents rediscover connection, resilience, and thriving.
Fed up with the usual parenting advice? Welcome to the club.
As parents of neurodivergent, “quirky,” or traumatized kids, we get a lot of advice… whether we ask for it or not.
The problem is, the best advice in the world doesn’t work when:
Your kid doesn’t fit the mold (and neither do you!)
You are feeling alone, misunderstood, unsupported, or just plain exhausted.
Your nervous system (or your whole damn house) is in a constant state of emotional overwhelm.
You know all too well that applying the typical parenting advice in your atypical family can be frustrating at best and, at worst, could do real harm to your child and your relationship.
You don’t need more advice. You need companionship and community.
I’m here to listen, and support you in caring for yourself, so you can find the best path forward for your beautifully complex child and family.
My heartfelt wish for you
Feel seen, heard, and supported
Focusing on your own well-being isn’t selfish—it’s essential. The positive psychology tools I use are proven to help you feel better quickly.
Experience thriving and joy
You are the expert on you and your family. My commitment to deep listening will leave you feeling validated and more confident.
Find your people
You don’t have to go it alone. We’ll focus on building and maintaining relationships that can sustain you in tough times.
How I can help
Wellness coaching and community building for parents of children with complex needs.
Wellness coaching
I’m a certified positive psychology coach and a neurodivergent parent of a young adult with complex mental health needs.
We don’t do Pollyanna positivity here. Our lives are complicated, and the struggle is real. But it can get better—and faster than you may think.
Working one-on-one, I can help you:
Envision the life you really want for yourself and your child
Tap into what’s best about you
Rekindle your spark
Build on your child’s strengths (I can’t wait to hear them!)
Find and ask for the help you need.
If you’re ready for positive change, let’s make it happen.
Community building
In the darkest moments of my own parenting journey, other parents have been my saving grace.
We show up for each other. Instead of casseroles, we bring laughter. Sanity. Resources. Advocacy. (Sometimes we bring casseroles, too.)
I apply my expertise in adult education and facilitation to bring together groups of parents and build authentic, practical, and durable community—in an hour, an afternoon, or over time.
Workshop, podcast, or keynote topics include:
Whole-person well-being for parents
Building on strengths
Positive emotions that build resilience
There’s no guidebook for parenting a child with complex needs. Let’s figure it out together.
How coaching works
Clarify your goals
We’ll explore your deepest desires for yourself and your family. This is fun! And it surfaces new insights that will guide us in finding a clear North Star for our work together.
Tap into your strengths
We’ll look at how you can draw on your strengths, past successes, and current resources to get where you want to go. You’ll begin to feel a renewed sense of hope and possibility.
Make lasting changes
We’ll develop an action plan, and you’ll start taking steps toward the future you long for. We’ll explore what it will take to tackle challenges along the way and identify natural sources of support to keep you on track.
Short-term investment,
long-term change
My clients have a lot on their plates. My coaching model is designed to help you make significant, lasting progress in just 4-6 sessions. Our first conversation is always complementary. If you decide we’re a good fit, my standard coaching rate is $150/hour.
I reserve a limited number of pay-what-you-can sessions for parents who need them. Please let me know if you would like to request the next available opening—no questions asked.
